A doughnut is not a vegetable on brentwood home page I love the franklin farmers
market because there are so many vendors.Don worry brentwood, we will still be
visiting the market at forest hills methodist, however last saturday i was on a
mission. There are several vendors who carry beautiful flowers and plants.Eyeing
these beautiful hanging baskets the week before, i promised to make a trip back
to get a few.Move over home depot and lowe the baskets would have sold for at
least double at a store.At the farmers market, the baskets cost a whopping $10
and were triple the size.Oh happy day, and i was happy let me tell you.Flowers
make me happy!A great deal on flowers made this girl very happy. While i enjoyed
picking out my baskets, good old ken doll found something he could enjoy
too.Looking around for an extra hand, i wondered where he went.Knowing full well
he was not picking out my kale or any other greens, i began searching, and what
great
deals did i spy with my green eye? Did you know that the franklin
farmers market has a homemade fresh while you wait doughnut vendor?They do and
my husband loves them.As i struggled to promptprocessservice get to
him, he was talking it up in line with two ladies who seemed to find him
humorous.As he spied me, my happy husband declared honey!Not a worry in the
world, just in line for his doughnut.Now, can you help me carry the flowers
honey? Fresh veggies and local honey are my hot picks at a farmers market.The
line for the doughnuts is the longest one at the market every week, and i have
to admit, they pretty darn yummy! Always a brentwood connection, we had to
purchase goat cheese from noble farms.Mr. andMrs.Noble are like family to us
now. They were the wonderful couple who sold our son his car andMr.Noble has
called to make sure the car is doing great and give us tips on care. The goat
cheese is our favorite.If you stop at theNoble farms booth you have to look at
photos of the goats and even wedding pictures of theNoble son who owns the farm
with one of his goats on wedding day.Lovely daughternlaw you have there mr.And
mrs.Noble. Our early morning adventure is a relaxing one and we always come home
with lots of wonderful goodies.The funny (more Prom dresses
here) thing is the boys are usually just rolling out of bed, it may
be the smell of doughnuts motivating them, asking, you guys already go to the
